Things around the old homestead these past couple of days have gotten a big morose, the air stale, the flow pitiful.

So this morning I took Clay out to Garcia’s for brekkie and then I bought us new hats in Old Town, and scrambled that dark nonsense, sent it pedaling off for good.
I finally chose a Sydney Bucket hat. It’s sure to give good sunlight protection in Florida. The name fits the style, it feels a bit buckety, but lightweight with a sweet weave for the Gulf breezes to slip through.

Thank you, Old Town Hat Shop (greatest collection of awesome hats in Albuquerque)!

Thank you, Elaine
It’s a great sunhat. If I want to see around me, I can flip up the brim.

The sun is hot as it beats down
My head feels from this, a little frown
But I can work this out I know
It is a hat that will make it go
One with a visor and also blocks
Now you do not see my curly locks
enjoy my Dearest Carmela Blue(+):)
